
Yosemite National Park Enthusiasts Can Freely Show Their Affection By Becoming Members Of The Yosemite Association. This Is A Non-profit Organization, Mainly Put Up To Help Preserve The National Park. The Organization Offers Its Assistance To The Programs Of The Yosemite National Park Such As Research, Educational, And Environmental. The Yosemite Association Is Congress-approved, And Is Closely Working With The National Park Service. It Offers Services As Well As Financial Assistance To Develop The Parks Appeal And To Further Enhance Each Of The Guests Experience. The National Park Service Has So Far Received About 5.5 Million In Contributions From The Yosemite Association Since The Year 1990. The Monetary Aid Was From The Dues Of The Association Members, And From Other Activities Done Within And Outside The Yosemite National Park. Members Of The Yosemite Association Are All Given A Free Copy Of The Book Yosemite Meditations, Valued At 9.95. They Are Also Entitled To Receive The Following: A Free Subscription To The Quarterly Journal Of The Yosemite Association, Regular Newsletters Via Email, 15 Off On The Yosemite Stores Items, 15 Off On Outdoor Courses Offered In The National Park, Discounts On Lodging And Activities Within The Park, And Numerous Other Discount Coupons From Establishments In The Yosemite National Park. There Are Different Membership Levels In The Yosemite Association. The Individual And JointFamily Members Who Paid 35 And 40 Are Entitled To Receive All The Benefits Contained In The Member Benefits Page. The Supporting Membership Level Requires A Fee Of 60 And Gives Its Members All The Benefits That The Individual Members Do, Plus A Guide To The Sequoia Groves Of California. Contributing Members Or Those Who Paid 125 Membership Fees Get All The Benefits Listed In The Individual Membership Level As Well As The Yosemite Containing Photos Taken By John Muir And Notes Done By Galen Rowell. Those Whose Fees Are At 250 Are Called The Sustaining Members. They Too Are Entitled To Receive All The Basic Benefits, Plus Yosemite Once Removed Portraits Of The Backcountry Which Is A Marvelous Collection Of Photos With Essays On The National Park. The Patron Membership Level Has A 500 Fee And Gives Out The Same Basic Membership Benefits As Well As Aspen Leaves And Half Dome Which Is A Matted Color Photo. The Benefactors Pay 1000 And Receive All Benefits, Plus The El Capitan, A Special Edition Photograph By Ansel Adams. International Members Pay 50 And Are All Entitled To Get All Basic Benefits.Admittedly, The Yosemite National Park Needs More Than Admiring Looks From Its Guests. It Thrives And Is Still Holding On To Its Natural Splendor Until Now, Because Of Such People As Those From The Yosemite Association.
