The Chinese Principles Were A Combination Of Discrimination And Geographic Exploitation. These Policies Were Mainly Aimed To Alter The Very Character And Identity Of Tibet And Its People.Towards The End Of 2000, The Population Of Tibet Was Recorded To Have Reached 2.62 Million, With Tibetan Nationalities Account To 90 Of The Recorded Statistics. Because Of The Weather Conditions, 80 Of The Population Of Tibet Is Mainly Dispersed Along Valleys. The Population Density Is Quite Low In The Southeastern Part Of Tibet Since It Is Mainly Covered By Primordial Forests, And Transportation Is Inadequate In The Area.The Population Of Tibet Is Generally Classified Into Four Periods:The First Period, 1952-1958: Is Distinguished With High Rate Of Mortality And Very Low Fertility Rate. The Second Period, 1959-1969 Is Largely Characterized With Quite An Insignificant Growth Rate. The Third Period,1970 - 1985 Was A Time Of Rapid Rise In The Populace And From 1986 Up To Now, The Population Growth Has Considerably Dropped. The Remarkable Stagnation On The Population Of Tibet Can Be Largely Attributed To The Callous Feudal Serf System That Has Dominated The Region For Many Centuries Now. The System Promoted Corruption And Stalled The Economys Growth And Development Of Health Care Programs. Tibetans Have An Average Life Expectancy Of 67, As Declared By Local Official Informants.At Present, The Unprecedented And Massive Relocation Of The Chinese Population Have Caused Great Alarm And Concern. If Successful, Tibetans Will Be A Negligible Minority In Their Own Country. According To The Fourth Geneva Convention, This Is A Blatant Violation Of The International Law. This Poses A Threat In The Population Of Tibet. Chinese Governments Are Offering Benefits To Its Citizens To Encourage Them To Settle In Tibet. The End Result Of All These Is That Tibetans Are Now Faced With The Harsh Realities That They Are Marginalized In Terms Of Economic, Political, Social And Educational Spheres. In The Province Of Kham, The Situation Proves To Be Even Much Worse Where 95 Of The Populations Are Chinese Inhabitants. This Is The Grim Reality That Tibetans Seem To Have No Control Of. If Left Unchecked, Chinese Citizens Would Dominate Tibet In Almost All Aspects, A Seemingly Deliberate Attempt To Fully Obliterate The Identity Of Tibetans. It Seems Like The People Of Tibet Is Sentenced To A Lifetime Of Stagnation And Racial Disdain.
