Chinese Take Over Tibet --- From 1949 Until Today Formerly, Tibet Stands Alone On Its Territory Having Its Own Culture, People, Land, And Heritage

But In The Past Couple Of Decades It Has Gradually Been Enveloped By The Big And Powerful Force Of China. For Thousands Of Years, Despite The Influences Of China, India, And Other Countries On Tibet, It Was Never Under Total Control By Such Forces, Not Until Recently, When The Chinese Take Over Tibet. Historically, The Thirteenth Dalai Lama Has Declared In 1913 That Tibet Is Independent And Not A Territory Of China. Upon The Lamas Death, While The Chinese Offered Their Condolences And Grief On Such Loss Of A Great Man, They Gradually Visited Tibet And Stayed On The Place One Group After Another. This Was Welcomed Graciously By Tibetans, The Same Way That They Welcomed The Nepalese And Indians. However, The Chinese Have A Different Plan In Mind. The Chinese Take Over Tibet At A Time When They, The Tibetans Least Expect It. Chinese Troops Invaded Eastern Tibet, Particularly Chamdo. At This Critical Time, The Fourteenth Dalai Lama, Although He Was Still 16 Years Old Has To Assume Full Spiritual And Temporal Powers Over The State. Trying To Settle Such Invasion, The Two Countries Held Peace Talks. Unfortunately, The Signed Treaty Was Only Used By The Chinese To Carry Out Their Mission And Goal Of Making Tibet A Colony Of China. This Has Started The Rebellious And Unstable State Of The Tibetan Land. In This Chinese Takeover, Tibet Has Strongly Resisted Against The Oppression And Violence, And Has Sought The Help And Assistance Of The United Nations. On Their Own, Tibetans Faced And Fought The Chinese, As The Chinese Troops Continued To Force Their Way To Tibet And Its Cities----with Mass Destruction Of Properties, Imprisonment Of Tibetans, And Rejection Of Political And Religious Freedom. As Tibetans Waited For The Other Countries Aid To No Avail, They Started And Did A National Uprising Against The Chinese, But Because Of The Stronger And More Powerful Chinese Forces, Tibet Lost Even More ---- More Monasteries And Temples Were Destroyed, More Women And Children Were Massacred, And More Men Were Imprisoned. It Was A Dangerous Moment In Tibets History, That In 17 March 1979, The Fourteenth Dalai Lama Has To Flee And Escape His Homeland. Because Of Such Danger, Thousands Of Tibetans Were Forced To Leave Their Country And Find Refuge In Other Parts Of The World. In This Chinese Takeover, Tibet Has Suffered The Worst, From Its Thousand Years History, Not Only Are Its People In Danger, But A Mass Threat Over Its Environment, Culture, Heritage, And Religion, Is At Stake.
